Compressibility check start point

I'm wondering if the compressibility check might be more accurate if it's done in the middle of the movie (or at least any time after the opening credits). I'm thinking its accuracy might be skewed because the opening content is often different from the rest of the movie (Freeway for instance). Thoughts?

the difference is usually minimal, the main effecting factor is the quality of the dvd

When you do a compressibility check, it takes frames from the whole movie, not just the first 5%. I don't know exactly how it picks frames, but if you look at the final .avi, it looks as fastforwarding through the whole movie.

And hmm... Correct me if I'm wrong ;)

It's like Starfish said. The compressibility check take frames from whole movie.

If you look at the .avs file it's in the
SelectRangeEvery(240,13)
This means that 13 frames are selected from every 240 frames. Easy really :D
