Dvd Fab asks internet access for Blu-ray

Hi,
I'm not a connoisseur at all in Blu-ray decrypting, I did it once with DVD Fab Passkey and it worked, but now it asks an internet connection, which I don't have on the pc with my Blu-ray player/burner.
Why does it need it ?
I only need decrypting, no re-encoding, and I'd like to copy the whole BDMV folder with a simple drag & drop (as I did with my first copy).
Is there a free tool able to decrypt recent Blu-ray's without internet connexion ?

Hi! All the tools I know to decrypt bluray need internet access. The reason is that basically the keys necessary to decrypt the bluray are not detected or computed when you insert the bluray, but already stored on the server of the tool-companies and they are only transferred to your computer.
In case you insert a brand new disc that no one else had inserted before than some kind of detection routine starts - but even in this case the essential data is transferred to their server so they can analyse it and find a working decryption method.

So I think there's no way to work without internet connection...

Mmmh, sad news.
I tried again a few minutes ago with an old Blu-ray and Dvd Fab didn't ask internet access, thus it only concerns new Blu-ray's (maybe not all, I don't know). Is it a kind of new protection ? Has it a name ?

I believe the internet connection is only for downloading the new keys. Probably your older BDs were in the locally stored database.

Ok.
Does it mean the last version does not include all the keys, even when they are not that recent ? Because the Blu-ray I wanna rip is a few months old, I believed its key would be included in last Dvd Fab's version.

Anyway, as I had no choice, I connected this pc to the web and it's ok now, I'm ripping the disc. Dvd Fab Passkey didn't need time to search the key, it analyzed the disc directly.

The new version of DVDFab doesn't seem to store keys locally at all, it always asks for internet access now. It used to be that they shipped the latest database and only went online for unknown keys.

Ok, is it the same with Anydvd ?

AnyDVD also needs permant internet access.
