I need to reduce the number of my standalone DVD-Recorders.
I have to keep only one of the following:
Panasonic DMR-E20 and HS2
JVC DR-M1.
The E20 is a very massive machine and the second Recorder ever Panasonic made, I believe nothing was spared.
On the other hand, HS2 is the second generation, still a TOTL one, and derived from HS1 which was an E20 with HDD. Still nicely built and sports a DV-in. None of them has the G6353 issue, later models have.
The JVC has either not the bad PSU even the followers (M100 and M20) had, can additionally use DVD-RW, but has no HDD.
