MadVR limited range>GPU full range>TV limited range

Hi all,

I know everything set to 'full range' is the preferred set up (and my TV can handle full range just fine) however it is much easier for me to use MadVR limited range>GPU full range>TV limited range. If I set everything to full I have to go into the TV settings to change the black level, and then when I switch back to another source I have to again go into the TV settings to change the black level back.

I only use this PC for watching videos with MadVR so I don't care that the desktop levels are clipped. I was wondering though is there any other drawback to using this setup? Is video quality 'better' with everything set to 'full range'?

We have the same setting. I have an isf calibrated display. This setting works well with videos. However, I believe we could create an icc profile for pc and an isf profile for madvr. We need a meter & a software like calman or chroma pure to achieve this.
