How can I add a second angle to a stream or clip in Scenarist BD please? There is no mention whatsoever in the manuals, tutorials or the old Sonic knowledgebase files.

Create clips from your angle assets. Be sure each audio is long enough (about 1/2 second longer than video to facilitate seamless connections).
Create a playlist dropping Segment1-Angle1 clip to Stream.
First PlayItem is created.
Drop remaining Segment1 angle clips on this PlayItem and set "Is SeamlessAngleChange" to True.
Drop Segment2-Angle1 clip on playlist, new PlayItem is created, drop remaining Segment2 angle clips on this PlayItem ....
Set "Connection Condition" for added PlayItems to "seamless".

What do I do about the audio though?
If I try to just drop Angle 2 into the playlist already containing the 3 audio streams I get an error telling me there is a mismatch.
If I try to add the second angle when audio is linked in both, it seems to reuse the audio a second time & duplicates it in the disc.
So - at what point do I add the 3 audio streams please? I have to add w64 PCM stereo, DTS-HD surround & w64 PCM surround and the main difficulty seems to be here, and finsing a way that does not double up on the audio.
It is either a step I am missing, or a very nasty bug that duplicates the audio assets and the manual is no help at all.
Thank you for your input so far though - but at what stage should I add audio to avoid this duplication?

BD is different to DVD.
Angles are in different m2ts, so if you use same audio for different angles it is duplicated.

That would explain that then.
Oh well - what a stupid way to do things.
Scenarist SD (DVD) handles this far better, as to be blunt it's not really a different angle, but a completely different playlist so what is the point?
If I want to do that, I can simply create a second playlist & do it all that way.
Blu-ray has to be one of the daftest formats ever created.

Old thread but wanted to say that the above is exactly correct.
It creates an out-of-mux stream to do this, which is effectively (in all but name) a hidden independent playlist.
So not exactly a multi-angle stream at all.
As if that were not bad enough, it simply does not work at all in Profile 1.0 machines - it requires PIP to be set up & properly enabled instead.
