Ok I have tried all the threads and maybe I just can't figure this out. I have ran the mem test on 2 of my computers. Checked out the via chipset deal and still my computer will freeze at around 50% sometimes less. CCE just doesn't seem to awant to work with either of my computers. So I tried changing the Ram. I swapped with each computer. Still freezes. I tried a different DVD. Still no luck.

Couple questions.
1. Is there anyway to fix this?
2. I have encoded many movies with TMPGENC and never a problem. Could the writer of DVD2SVCD give us poor saps who can't figure this problem out a choice of using another encoding program?

**** NOW DON"T KILL ME !!! I know he has went through a lot of work to write this program and doesn't charge a penny for it. I am not trying to be a jerk but if he could find it in the goodness in his heart and was bored one day and wanted to write the program to accept TMPg I think some of us would be jumping for joy. (for that matter any encoder that is good and won't lock my computer up.

1 last note. I think this is probably the coolest DVD2SVCD software I have ever seen. I would love to be able to use it. All these great features wrapped into one package and I don't have to excute each program manually... VERY VERY COOL. Please help me I want to use this program so bad :(,

Note Computer I have tried it on:
Computer 1
AMD Athlon 1ghz
384 ram pc133
Win ME
MB PCCH MB810lr

Computer 2
AMD Duron 850
384 ram pc133
Win ME
MB don't know

I have another computer very slow should I try it?
PII 333
Ram 256 pc 100
Win Me
MB Don't know

LOL, you are in luck. See the sticky thread in the advanced forum about supporting TMPG. You will find a version of D2S there available for download that supports TMPG. Enjoy.

Thank you Ddogg: This is great.. I have downloaded the new DVD2SVD. I have a question though when I hit the cd button to get the ifo file it says the vstrip file does not exist. Do I need to install something else or?

Thank you

Hello mace,

seems you were too excited about dvd2svcd supporting TMPGEnc so you have overlooked this little sentence. ;)

2. Be sure that you have installed Build 4 before you use the above version. (If you already are using Build 4 there's no need to install it again, I just want to be sure that you're using all the latest software). So just install the Build 4 Bundle prior to installing the latest Beta and this error should go away.

or if you had Build 4 installed make sure you put the new version inside the dvd2svcd directory so it can find its ini file.
