Is there already a browser plugin to play x265 directly?
Why does x265 cost money? Thougt the industry said, that this standard will be for free when they set it as standard for 4k blue-rays. Is it a trick to earn license money in the future?

Who needs a plugin for the browser eg. IE11?
The problem is with plug-in Adobe Flash Player 18. It hasn't HEVC decoder. When will deinstall Adobe Flash HEVC all videos that are posted in the cloud to be in operation eg. Google. You only need a decoder 32 / 64bit registered in Windows.
The problem is too with YouTube, which doesn't intend to pay HEVC license. It has its own codec VP9.
Edit: You can install plugin browser:

I think that Microsoft Edge web browser on Windows 10 can play back h265 video. Not sure if this is built in to windows 10 itself or the browser.

Codec HEVC only 8bit. The browser has Adobe Flash Player 18. It don't play HEVC.

I believe Edge will play back HEVC through normal HTML5 playback if there is a DXVA HEVC decoder installed with the GPU driver or whatever. No software decoder IIRC.
