Update an IG

Hi all,

I have an HDMV project in Scenarist which I want to use as a template
for my future work.
The problem I have is how to update the IG from the template
to the new one.
The buttons and naming are the same but whenever I update it it makes a mess.

Could someone please give directions how to do it?
What steps do you use to update an IG?
Is there a way to have a placeholder and just update that without losing commands etc like in SD?

Do not update the whole IG in a single step, but go through the update of each single page of the IG. You don't lose commands, but you lose buttons that doesn't have any commands. If you want to keep those buttons, add a simple "NOP" as a command.

In Scenarist, navigate to the page level, right-click and select 'Update > Page'.
