I used this amazing program many times a while ago. I now cannot get it to work on my desktop (Windows 7x64). I just get "error e1050001 can't render file"
I've re-installed it, doesn't help, and it works OK on laptop with same avi file (same platform).
Some kind of conflict? anybody help?

MotionPerfect is such an old program it was hard to find anything about it online. http://motion-perfect.software.informer.com/
MotionPerfect was developed to generate high quality slow motion or fast motion videos... uses motion compensated interpolation and morphing algorithms.
It may be incompatible with newer Windows. Forget it - Avisynth+MVTools can probably do a better job for you. There is a learning curve, however. Here some tutorials; they all say basically the same things (but I haven't reviewed them in detail). Choose one that looks good to you:

Thank you very much!
That is an amazing piece of software! Just using the writer's default script it does a far better job than Motionperfect.
