I have tried to Rip Madonnas Drowned Tour 2001 DVD to my HD with various programs but when I try to play them with Power DVD the files are all over the place....I get pics and no sound...then the wrong sound with pics....

Is this some form of copy protection or am I just an idiot??

Still no luck!

When I run DVD Decrypter there are 22 files but it only selects 9 of them.

I have tried to select all of them but then the dvd still doesn't play in the correct order.

Please help!

Use a player with IFO parsing like Smartripper. It will select the files in the right order. Also, if you have your HDD on NTFS you might want to not split the VOBs so that it's all in one file.

And one more thing: remove the stupid pic. It's in the forum rules too.

Have removed the image....didn't see anything in the rules about no images only to keep there size down!

Not running NTFS and have tried smartripper to no avail.

I still get the same problem.

8 VOB files which when played are a) out of sequence or b) some have no audio.

Are there any special options on smartripper that I should try to get it in the correct order?

it sounds to me just like the player isnt playing them correctly from the info in the IFO file. Try ripping in ISO mode in dvd decrypter and then mount the ISO image as a virtual drive in Daemon Tools or alike. The dvd will then play EXACTLY like the original.
