Best x265 Encoder

I'm wondering, would it make sense to use x265 instead of x264 to encode the result of AviSynth scripts? Since most of the time is being taken with NNEDI3 and especially EEDI3, the file encoding itself doesn't make much performance difference.

Has anyone looked into it? Would you recommend making the switch? Which encoder would you recommend?

I took a quick look at this, but they don't provide a binary of it; only the source code.

Why people still use x264 over x265?
When I last checked the x265 thread, x264 was better than x265 on grainy videos at the same bitrate. x264 retained details better at high bitrates too.
I don't know if it is changed now.

Don't forget playback device compatibility, besides quality....

Just check both x264 and x265 without adding any AviSynth Filters. Avisynth can make the same quality of x265 in x264. But Using more filters on x265 will kill the original quality of HEVC Encodings.
