All the sudden, when I woke the PC after drug rehab today (yes, thats what I have to do in my spare time) really really weird stuff started happening.
first of all, when I started up a video with reclock -- it claimed my sound card device only supports 24b, 48000 (what its set to) 6 channels -- it said 7 wasnt supported!
so I went into ffdshow audio (I use LAV for 5.1 mixes, FFDshow for raw audio to process dolby pro logic filtering) and checked, and its set to the only one that worked -- 3/2/1 (says side, but rears work fine) which is -6- channels!
so I tried it without reclock, and it went fine -- but you know me, I CANT keep myself from tinkering with shit to get it to work.
so I tried messing with ffdshow settings thinking it wasnt a big deal and I could change them back.
oh how wrong I was -- now since I changed them, Dolby Processing Fails to work no matter -what- I do.
I Have everything set right -- FFdshow audio decoder and audio processor are added in external filters, set to prefer,
ffaudio is set to accept all raw audio streams (catch them from LAV) with dolby decoder, volume, and mixer checked -- mixer is set to 3/2/1 - 6 channels with LFE checked.
in LAV it DOES pass the audio on to ffdshow -- I disabled mixing of stereo sources -- so I KNOW between the volume and other controls that it is indeed mixing things.
its just every single time I set it back, no matter how I change the settings, it only outputs 2 channels.
disabling, reenabling dolby decoder does nothing.
and to make matters worse -- reclock is still acting up!
I have -NO- Idea why this is happening! literally last night before bed I used it all and it worked PERFECTLY..
right when i got home I even played a CD in 5.1 because I didnt enable reclock then and didnt know something was up!
if anyone knows anything about this sort of stuff HELP!!!!
