Hello everyone!

Looking for some expert advice on how to make this crappy sample look somewhat decent. Especially how to remove the ghosting, can't seem to manage to do that.

you could use that to begin:
tweak(hue=7.7,cont=0.9,sat=1.1) # not sure about the hue
ylevels(0,1.150,255,0,255)
ylevels(8,1.000,255,0,255)

and you'd need a filter to remove the spots i've tried despot & removespotsmc w/o much success

Double frame rate de-interlacing followed by SRestore (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Srestore) seems to help.
