what is most detailed edge detector ever? Or it doesn`t exist, therefore each one is the most detailed in a specific case? If second case is correct, what are the most detailed? Accurate edge detector is the same thing of detailed edge detector? If no, what is the most accurate edge detector? Please, answer me all this questions, because i`m making a project...

Please rephrase your question:
12) How NOT to post on this forum:

(...)

Do not ask "what's best" because this question cannot be answered objectively.

I don't know which is the most accurate but you could try some of these (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/External_filters#Edge_Detection).

Other members will undoubtedly have more/different suggestions.

Could you please stop asking for perfect solutions to mathematically unsolvable problems?

[Perfect edge detection] is obviously not a well-posed problem because (in the context of photography) the projection from three dimensions to two is lossy, not to mention that things sometimes don't even have hard, defined edges. Also, Moiré patterns tend to mess with edge detectors.

is mathematically impossible some edge detector show more detail (more fine and strong edges) than others? Is mathematically impossible some edge detector show less false positive (artifacts) than others? Your reply doesn`t make sense. Borrow way, is the vectorizing upscaling algorithms, like alien skin blow up 3, that produces amazing results, no artifacts. The "problem" is it doesn`t retain fine details of some images, must be because your edge detector. People say that genuine fractals retain more fine details, but i don`t know if there`s a way of avoiding washed color texture effect that it introduces in some cases.

herp derp herp derp herp derp herp derp herp (derp herp derp herp derp) herp derp? Herp derp herp derp herp derp herp derp herp derp (herp) derp herp?

Here's one edge detector that has zero false positives: just multiply the whole image by zero. Obviously, this is not very useful, but you get what you ask for (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LiteralGenie).

There are edge detectors more sensitive than Sobel, but they tend to not be used because they're too sensitive. Sobel is a decent tradeoff most of the time, and is also often used as a base for more sophisticated algorithms like Canny edge detection (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canny_edge_detector).

You can get plenty of information with the aid of Google and Wikipedia, so go do that instead of creating a million threads for whatever idea you have. We're not here to spoonfeed and do research for you free of charge.

+1 Colours! Unfortunately there is no logical argument that will have any effect on LH21, I fear. These threads will continue until the heat death of the Universe.

To handle adequately the edges must use a detector such as Camembert. From there you can filter the edges.

is carnembert more sensible than sobel?
