View Full Version : 264DV surveilance camera stream format, known to anyone?
A user of the german doom9/Gleitz forum posted a sample of a video file recorded from surveilance cameras, which is supposed to contain video and audio. MediaInfo only detects the AVC video. After installing a DirectShow filter, media players can play it with audio. The header contains a magic: "264DV"+0x0+0x0+0x0
Does anyone know such a format?
I'm asking the original poster to link a sample here as well, including the installer of the splitter filter. We are currently assuming that DirectShowSource() should enable him to convert both audio and video via AviSynth...

P.S.: One of several DLLs with the AX filter contains a copyright related to a HiSilicon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HiSilicon) company. It appears to produce ARM Cortex based video processors.

Expectably, a proprietary container and a narrow band audio codec. Doubtful any third-party software will support it.
