I feel strange posting here - like talking in a deserted house, but here goes: Groucho2004 came up with a method for changing AviSynth versions on the fly. A script (in the path) copies the two avisynth dlls to a folder somewhere in the path. Tested and working on XP 64-bit. Win 7/8 - not so much.
64-bit avisynth is working 100%. 32-bit avisynth, everything works EXCEPT virtualdub. The files are there, I can play the script in Media Player Classic-HC, they'll encode with various encodes, but 32-bit virtualdub will not open. I get this error: “AVI Input Filter error: (Unknown) (80040154)”.
Any ideas?
