Tried downloading the MPC BE standalone filters and using regsvr32 but it doesn't show up in MPC HC's list. both 64 bit versions.

Anyone had any success?

Thank you!

It must show in Audio Renderer's list.

On top of this, once showing in the Audio Renderer list, how do you configure it? How do you pull up the Properties dialog and change it to Exclusive mode?

Hi Aleksoid1978 - unfortunately it doesnt show up in the audio renderer list... tried unregistering and re-registering but nothing!

To recap, I am using the following command: regsvr32.exe MpcAudioRenderer.ax

Installation is successful but it doesn't show up in mpc hc's audio renderer list... Windows 8.1 x64 using standalone_filters-mpc-be.1.4.5.315.x64.(VS2013).7z and latest nightly for MPC HC x64.

Any idea?

It should appear as "MPC Audio Render" with some numbers after it.

I'm having the same issue (I guess). It shows the right renderer in options but the player falls back to Default DirectSound Device. I also tried version 1.4.5.364.

MPC-BE 1.4.5 (build 364) beta x86 + external MPC Audio Renderer 1.4.5.364 x86 => working
PotPlayer 1.6.53899 x86 + external MPC Audio Renderer 1.4.5.364 x86 => working
MPC-HC 1.7.8.162 (0c83d4e) + external MPC Audio Renderer 1.4.5.364 x86 => does not work

MPC-BE standalone filters 64 bit, MPC-HC 64 bit lastest nightly, it shows up in the Renderer list, I selected it, but in the Filters list it shows Default DirectSound Device. I've heard that MPC-HC is rewriting their audio renderer anyway, it shouldnt be a problem for too long.

We are developing brand new audio renderer which is almost done and will be available soon.

For registering, use the madvr install.bat file. Change the .ax-filename in the install.bat-file to the right one. Be sure to run install.bat as Administrator.
Enable the MpcAudioRenderer under Options --> Playback --> Output --> Audio Renderer. Similar to what you would do with Reclock.
After that, just play a movie file, right click the MPC-HC window, click Filters, click MPC Audio Renderer and set it up.

Works on both x86 and x64 versions. To be able to do that, I had to rename the x64 version to MpcAudioRenderer64.ax, to be able to register both versions.

Didn't work on this end. I registered it, selected MPC Audio Renderer (with numbers), and all that shows in the filter list after reopening the player is Default DirectSound Device.

What MPC-HC version are you using? I am using the newest nightly, same for the MPC-BE AudioRenderer (build 364). All 64 bit.

I'm using 1.7.8.162. I remember having the same problem. I think I "solved" it by restarting the player after selecting the MPC Audio Renderer.
Or maybe after rebooting my PC, can't remember exactly anymore :)

Disable built-in audio switcher. Otherwise it falls back to direct sound device for some reason.

The latest nightly of MPC-HC includes the new audio renderer, with WASAPI support.

I don't see any changes that would indicate MPC-HC includes a new audio renderer. I must be blind, or you guys are dreaming. :)
