View Full Version : How to edit CLPI in time?

Hello!
I got stuck on a problem with replacing the main movie of a Blu-ray. If I leave the original CLPI, just replace the M2TS and then fix the packets in BD Edit, the main movie won't show in the test player (PowerDVD 13). If I remux the main movie in TSMuxer as "Blu-ray" I also get a CLPI to replace the original one. Then the main movie plays in PowerDVD, but does not start at the beginning. This is because the parameter "in time" (BD Edit) of the original CLPI is about 1h9m and the one of the new CLPI is 0. So I guess I just need to edit the "in time" value of the CLPI. But how?
BD Edit won't let me and Clown CLIPINF Editor does not even show this parameter. I could probably reauthor the entire Blu-ray, but I don't want to. So far I haven't found another editor for BD files.

If you remux the feature in TSMuxer, and copy over the CLPI, MPLS and M2TS file created by TSMuxer into your disc image (renaming them as necessary, editing the MPLS to match the M2TS filename if need be), it should play perfectly from beginning to end. There's nothing to tell player to start at 1h9m... The original CLPI file is gone, so that information should no longer be there...

Make sure you replace the CLPI and MPLS in the Backup folder to, just in case.

Thanks for the idea. It was the MPLS where I had to edit the IN time parameter, not the CLPI. I could not simply replace the MPLS, because it contained other items which were of course missing in the one created by TSMuxer.

Which items are missing after muxing? Is it missing the IGS menu?

P/S: try to use the tsmuxer v2.6.12. I think it will solve your problem.

Yes, the original playlist contains two items and two IG menus in the subpath. But I solved it now. Everything works. Thanks again.

Sorry for getting back so late, but I didn't notice your remark on that TSMuxer version. With that version of TSMuxer I got this setting:

The time value was read from the playlist and was later in the CLPI file, so the generated CLPI looked fine, it means like the original one, except those EP entries, because my remuxed M2TS main movie file was a bit smaller.

The CLPI generated by TSMuxer turned out to have the wrong number of packets registered for the M2TS, as BDEdit and CLIPINF Editor were reporting. Well, they can fix it...

However, when using the new CLPI on the Blu-ray, the Blu-ray still had the same problem in Power DVD 13: there was no video and audio being rendered for the main movie, though navigation on the timeline was OK now. After I burned the BDMV to BD-RE, it also didn't show video and audio on my PS4.

Later I figured out that I also had to replace the M2TS on the re-authored BDMV. Then it worked.

Thanks for the support!
