I tried to find the way to limit video window size in MPC or MPC-HC but was unsuccesful

Standard behavior is that window is limited to desktop screen resolution in both directions.

It can be very convenient to limit it, because when you have low resolution desktop then most of videos are just filling WHOLE SCREEN that is very annoying.
But it has no sense to zoom automatically all video (even low res) to half size !
(and automatic zoom settings for MPC are very poor anyway -> you have no slider and you can't choose variable percentage :scared: )

Zoom Player does that very well, it has all the options you could want to control the size of the player in different ways. Sorry, no idea about MPC-HC.

Thanks for the advice, i will check it...

I don't insist on MPC if the zoom player is comparable. Actualy i'm using heavy customized BSplayer for movie watching but it is not suitable for playing general videos.

You can set "Auto Fit" and "Auto Fit Factor". MPC-HC window will always be sized to the given factor.
