Alright, I've got several movies I've encoded with DivX 4.12 and standard lame mp3, but all of my movies have suddenly started giving me weird "Hard coded break point" errors:
"invalid audio but not signaling an error."
At line 477 of d:\xpclient\multimedia\dshow\filterus\avi\avimsr\aviindex.cpp
Continue? (Cancel to debug)
With options to continue (which just keeps giving me the error), stop, or debug. If I stop, I then get the error "ASSERT Failed":
g_cFGObjects == 0
At line 6002 of d:\xpclient\multimedia\dshow\filters\core\filgraph\filgraph\filgraph.cpp
Continue? (Cancel to debug)
I just started getting this error messages today. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I installed the DirectX 8.1 SDK to some DX programming, but I don't know how to resolve this problem. I don't even have a d:\xpclient\ directory.
Funny thing is though, that I have no problem watching my Cowboy Bebop dubs that I encoded with exactly the same procedure and codecs. The error happens in the playa, wmp, sasami2k, everything I try. What gives? Anyone know what I can do about this?
