I get this error message when I try to shrink hunger games mockingjay with bd-rebuilder"not enough buffer for parse video stream. Current frame num 21797". Also I get a 'failed audio' message also. Any ideas?

Almost assuredly a bad rip.

For sure! I just did that title with no such error. But, FYI...this is one of those Lionsgate MPLS obfuscation copy protected titles. Even the latest beta of AnyDVDHD does not handle it. Anyone trying to do this title should look to the Slysoft forum for guidance on which playlist to use. It will vary depending on what disc you own.

I think you are right.I cleaned the blu ray and ripped again. In addition I erased Lav Filters. before ripping it again. This time Bd-Rebuilder did a perfect job. I watched it Sunday afternoon without a glitch. The only other comment I will make is , although the quality is good , I have seen much better quality in other blu rays.

How much total time (in HH:MM) is contained on the disc? Was it a BD-25 backup? It's very rare that a BD-25 backup isn't as good as the original.

I believe he was referring to the transfer qaulity_of_the_source disc.

This is the first Hunger Games film to be shot digitally.
There's no film grain or anything.
The director added lots of smoke to a lot of scenes to try and create a film-quality to the digital capture.
I think it just made it look DNR'ed for a lot of the background details due to cheap and experimental filming techniques.
The brightness levels were more for cinematic viewing than they were for TV levels.

But, that's mostly off-topic to the quality_of_BDReB_output.

Total runtime is about 2:03. Movie only is about 17gb, didn't even reencode.

That is correct-I was referring to the transfer quality. I even watched the original blu ray disc and the quality was acceptable but certainly not outstanding. The original Boxtrolls blu ray disc had outstanding quality.,as did the BD-25 disc. The total time on the BD-25 for Hunger Games Mockingjay was about 2 hours and 2 minutes. Thanks for all the replies...

p.s.-I used a Verbatim DataLife BD-25 disc on a win 7 64 bit computer and burned it with a Optiarc BD-5300S burner..
