Hi!

Using XP + Potplayer and decoding video with DXVA (DXVA2 only available on Vista or higher).

I noticed that I cannt use potplayer´s postprocessing filters or avisynth filters in DXVA.

Is there any workarround to add video processing filters using DVXA?. My computer does not have enough power to decode HD videos by CPU but I have CPU totally free with DXVA enabled.

DXVA1 does not support video processing. Upgrade to a OS from this decade, and you can use DXVA2, which does have some post-processing filters (although it may still not give you exactly what you want).

ok thanks for the info!

So if no postprocessing even under dvxa2, Ill save for better CPUs in the future rather than buy expensive GPUs.
