I am trying to write a SVCD using Nero to play on a Harman Kardon DVD-50 DVD player.
I used TMPG to convert an AVI file to SVCD, Nero is happy with the created MPG file, Power DVD is happy to play the produced SVCD.
In Nero I tried following both standard compliant (MPEG2, ENTRYVCD) and non compliant (MPEGAV, ENTRYSVD) options. In all instances Power DVD was happy to play the CD. The DVD-50 detects the SVCD as VCD and then reports the format is not supported.
I can play VCD's created with Nero on the DVD-50.
Any suggestions?
Anybody ever succeeded in getting the DVD-50 to play a SVCD?
