HC Encoder Constantly Stopping

I am using DVD RB with HCEnc.
The first time I used this combination everything went perfectly.
Now, for some reason, windows 7 presents a windows saying that the Encoder has stopped.
I click on the window and HCEnc continues, but stops again after a minutes or so.

Has anyone had this problem or can tell me what's happening and how to fix it?:confused:

Could it be your anti virus interfering or file indexing tying up the drive. Like you stated, it continuous on from where it left off.

Hmmm... I've never seen (or heard) that before. Has it done it on more than one title? Sometimes there can be issues with the source that might cause that.

This is only the second build I have done.

When doing this sort of work (ripping, building, burning) I normally disconnect from the internet and turn off as many running programs as possible, including anti-virus (Avira) before I start.

The first build I did, which worked perfectly, I had forgotten to turn everything off!!!:confused:

This second build I remembered to turn everything off.
After HCenc had stopped a few times, I re-connected to the internet, thinking maybe HCenc or DVD-RB wanted the connection. But it didn't make any difference.

BTW, the first build was of Disc 1 of a two disc set. The second build (with the problems) was of disc two. They had both been previously ripped onto my hard drive.
