Deblend 1080MBAFF from 29->25

Hi all,

I've got a tricky source I need help cleaning up. It's a PAL show airing in the US, so somehow I need to figure out how accurately to restore it to 25fps. It's 4 clean frames then 2 blended frames. Usually a combination of Yadif and fixblend methods will do the trick of fully deblending most if not all the frames, however this does not work on this show. Is it because it's MBAFF and not interlaced that it doesn't work? Could be.

Any idea on how I can fully clean up the video?

Holy crap that looks awful. The bitrate is way lower than I would consider acceptable, but I assume that isn't the main cause.

In addition to the 2 ghost frames, every frame has artifacts from motion interpolation, IMO. Unless all of your captures with this device have multi-frame layered motion trails around objects.

Part of the reason the bitrate is so low is because it's h264 and not mpeg2, and it doesn't help that a lot of scenes are dark. But yes, the quality of the show/channel is abysmal. It's a pure digital capture, there's no artifacts added in from my recording device. It is simply how it's aired unfortunately.
