Windows XP x64 Edition combines all the great things about pre-Vista versions of Windows (like superior performance, the ability to use the win9X-style start menu and folders, the ability to run certain programs that honestly aren't that old, etc.) with the one advantage of Vista/7/8 (the ability to address more than 3.75 GB of RAM).
I have a copy and it has been working BEAUTIFULLY. It truly is the best of both worlds... with two exceptions. One is drivers. If you can find 64-bit XP drivers for your hardware, I want to know what religion you are because obviously the gods favor you. The second is the PC port of Halo 2, which requires Vista or newer because Bill Gates is a dick.
You may all high-five and worship me now.
