So I'm using Clown_BD to process Stargate which I recently picked up at Best Buy (from the bargain bin). I generally pull out the main movie and the HD sound then burn to an ISO which I keep on my media server to play with my Dune. Well, I'm getting an error and it will not process the movie.
The source file "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\Stargate (1994)\Audio_4_English.pass1.DTS" could not be opened. <ERROR>
The source file "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\Stargate (1994)\Audio_4_English.pass1.DTS" could not be opened. <ERROR>
I'm attaching the 3rd EAC log for reference. Any idea why it can't open this? I tried processing straight from the BD and also after ripping to my harddrive using AnyDVD. Both produced the same result. The movie appears to play fine both from the BD and after being ripped. MakeMKV was able to successfully process as well.

After the crash, exist the file "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\Stargate (1994)\Audio_4_English.pass1.DTS" or "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\Stargate (1994)\Audio_4_English.DTS"?
If yes show the size and try to play with mpc-hc or other.
If MakeMKV can process the BD, try to extract the DTS-MA from the MakeMKV output.

After the crash, the file does not exist. If I extract the DTA-Ma from the MakeMKV output, what should I do then? Reprocess the entire thing as an ISO?

I'll try to extract it. Something wrong with either the GUI or eac or anydvd. It is now not working on another movie, same problem. I'll download the clown_Bd package again and see if maybe something got corrupted.

I was able to use Clown_BD to extract the DTS file from the MKV.
I also reinstalled Clown_BD (re-downloaded package). I still can't complete the process from a BD. Honestly, I'm really scratching my head on this one. I've worked fine for years....
I've got a couple other things I want to try.

Try to run this standalone command line:
"C:\Users\Aaron\Downloads\Clown_Bd\eac3to\eac3to.exe" "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\STARGATE" 1) 4: "C:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Clown_BD Temp\Stargate (1994)\Audio_4_English.DTS"

I just finished. I get the exact same error as I did in the 3rd Clown_BD eac3to log. In fact, the command line run produced a log of its own (singular). The logs are virtually identical (except for the command line commands). Eac3to reads everything fine, produces a list, then processes. Then at the end it says the "the source file...could not be opened" and ends.
So at least now we know it is not Clown_BD but eac3to.
I also just ran a STTNG BD through Clown_BD and it worked flawlessly. So for whatever reason, this problem seems to limited to two new BDs I recently purchased (Divergent and Stargate).
So now what?

If MakeMKV work and eac3to not, maybe there are some copy protection.
Try this:
1) Extract the main movie (video, and desired audio/subs) from your BD to mkv with MakeMKV.
2) Load the mkv in tsMuxeR and recover the Blu-ray disk structure.
3) Burn the ISO

I extracted the main movie using MakeMKV. I loaded the MKV into tsMuxeR and output to a Blu-ray disk structure. I then used tsMuxeR and made an ISO. The ISO works.
I also used tsMuxeR to extract the movie and the HD audio using the playlist. It output to a BD disk structure and also works correctly.
So the problem seems to be entirely eac3to.
I just received Live, Die, Repeat Edge of Tomorrow. eac3to handled that fine.
I do get a message when running Clown_BD on Divergent. It says "Sony ScreenPass use mpls 0267?" I choose now and then run clown normally. Could that be part of the problem?

Did you buy a physical BD or download the source?
In any case you must unprotect the source before be managed by eac3to. MakeMKV do the job, you can try AnyDVD or DVDFab instead.

I own the source (and own everything I rip). I use AnyDVD HD. I've been using AnyDVD HD and Clown_BD for a few years now without problem. Now it is giving me problems just on these two discs (Stargate and Divergent).
MakeMKV works on these titles as does CloneBD.
