Hi.

I have some DVB-S2 HD recordings (transport stream, *.ts) which probably contains missing packets (continuity issues due reception problems), Is there any tool (Windows or Linux) which allows to analyze the stream?

I'm basically looking for something similar as Project.X for DVB-S (SD) streams.

There is no difference between DVB-S and DVB-S2 transport streams...

The TS container format may be the same, but the content is very different in most countries... :rolleyes:

I live in Germany, and DVB-S (and DVB-T) all have MPEG2 video and MP2 (or/and AC3) audio. DVB-S2 always has AVC video.

ProjectX can only handle MPEG2 video streams. For AVC video I agree with Ghitulescu - TSDoctor does a great job on it.

I fully agree but it was not clear is problem are TS or ES like.

Any idea how to get it (for testing purposes)?

PS: the succesor of TsRemux bears a different name, TS4NP.

From what I remember that application dates back to 2008 (meaning it's a couple of years older than the modified version of TSremux)
