I've got a DVDrip file 888x480.
Within AvsP preview, the color seems proper.

However, when I play the real file, the color looks weird.

How can I set the player option? My player is KMplayer.

Make sure that in drivers you have disabled Dynamic contrast option.

You converted from TV->PC levels, but few players/decoders/drivers will honor that. You have to force conversion to RGB output in the player and tell it to use PC levels. (You might not need to specify PC levels if KMplayer can pick it up from the stream settings, assuming you used --input-range PC in your x264 encode.) Otherwise it's best to just leave it as TV levels. If you need extra precision, there's more support for 10-bit than PC levels, at least in software.
Aside: Toki Wo Kakeru Shoujo? I <3 both movies.
