I got my copy of 'the november man' and using a registered copy of anydvd 7.5.3.2 copied it to a empty folder on my harddrive. I then used bd-rebuilder 0.49.07 to try and shrink it to a verbatim bd-r 25 gb for archival purposes. However, I keep getting this error message:
-extracting a/v streams(vid_00009)
-error in attempt to extract audio/subs
-SPS picture order 4 not supported
-failed to retrieve audio,aborted.
This happened when it was at 70.20 % done, even when I unchecked the audio subs box. First time that I have seen this specific error message. Any ideas from the gurus. Any help appreciated..

Hi!

BEFORE proceeding to use BD-Rebuilder, did you confirm that the uncompressed backup you made with AnyDVDHD played properly, from start to finish, on your standalone Blu-ray player?

I finally got it to work. I used the cleaning fluid for my plastic glasses(lenses that is),wet the complete playing surface and let it dry. I then used the cleaning cloth for my glasses that I got from my optometrist and buffed the playing surface until it was shinier than a babies behind(lol).Sometimes new blu rays are very touchy. This blu ray looked clean but apparently it wasn't. After this both anydvd and bd-rebuilder worked flawlessly and I got my archival copy. HWK was correct-it was a bad rip. Life is now good again. lol

Sometimes I do something similar. On a badly scratched disc once, that had failed every other method, I even used the mildest paste from a scratch-fix kit (for cars). It worked like a charm.
