can anyone tell my why I have a 7 gig file out of an anime rip i did , i can't figure this out why its sooo large , i got an error message right before encoding that said I'm compressing with a hacked compression driver

what does that mean ???

it just means ur using divx 3.11 as for why u have that file, who knows...be more specific!

Hi,

Did you encode in Vdub or Nandub? Check to make sure you checked "Fast" or "Normal" recompress in your video menu. If you have it on "Full Processing Mode" it will save a very large, uncompressed avi file....

Moin dragonman,

that is not true. Full processing mode will only save an uncompressed file if you don't select a video compressor (just hit enter in the compressor selection). I often use full procession mode without problems.
For an uncompressed movie it seems to be too small, though.
