I capture raw avis at 640x480 from either digital cable or vhs. Some tv channels and most of my vhs tapes produce a washed out and overly bright result with the raw avi.
My only choice for capture format is UYVY.
I use VirtualDub to capture on windows xp with a geforce3 VIVO capture card.
Even if I play with the brightness controls on the capture settings, it doesn't appear to help much.
What I am doing wrong?
