It sounds ridiculous but since I have not found a solution on how to use AC3 Filter (for audio) with Cyberlink PowerDVD, I play the video with PowerDVD while keeping volume "mute" and opening the same video with WMP on background for audio

Ofcourse, it is so hard to keep video and audio in sync when starting to watch the movie.

Can anyone sugest a better solution?

I would need TWO mouse cursors so that I can press "play" simultaniously on both players so that video and audio would be in sync! Ridiculous, right? but that would really help the sync probleem :D

The built in audio filters on PowerDVD just do not satisfy my needs but PowerDVD is the only player that plays AMD HD3D videos without any issue (the known 1 frame lag issue on left eye 3D) - so I must use PowerDVD for video!

Make a copy of the clip.mp4 (or extract its audio), name the copy as .ac3.
Associate .ac3 with WMP.
Highlight both clip.mp4 & clip.ac3 in Windows Explorer, Open.
.mp4 opens in PowerDVD, .ac3 opens in WMP.

Why don't you convert the audio to a format supported by PowerDVD?
