Scenarist BD 5.7 registering drop frame assets

Anyone have an idea how to get Scenarist to recognize drop frame assets. I have encoded the avc with Sonic's encoder and selected drop, the encoded timeline reflects drop frame, but upon importing into Scenarist the attribute indicates Drop Frame as False with the field grayed out. ANy thoughts on how to get Scenarist to recognize the file as drop?
