New features in x264vfw? (July 2014)

Since I was using the March 2013 release for so long, I stopped checking for x264vfw updates awhile ago. I just saw that it was updated back in July. Is there a changelog I can look at to see if I should upgrade or not? Like better compression ratios or something?

I think it's time to dump x264vfw. The latest VirtualDub has support for external encoders.

P.S. Main reason for update was spec complaint lossless in libx264.

I thought VirtualDub always had support for external encoders? (or do you mean stuff other than Lagarith, UT?)

Personally for me it's about software based video game capturing and the only codec that can do 1080p60 without bottle necking my system is x264vfw.

x264vfw might still be useful for other programs than vdub

e.g. some screen recording programs like camstudio, bandicam, camtasia etc...

NLE's like vegas etc... (although some have frame servers as well)
