Beeing a fan of 3D Bluray; i m really disapointed by the lack of player under linux. and i m keeping a dualboot windows on my htpc to play 3D bluray ...:mad: :mad: :mad:
By the end of july gstreamer vaapi officialy suported mvc decoding; based on this link http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTc1MjA I think that ony the quickvideo features from intel hd cards are supported but still i wonder if there already is a player that is using those new mvc/3Dbluray capabilities.
I don't have an intel hd card but i ll order a 2.0 nuc if so. My ultimate goal will be to wait for it to be implemented in ffmpeg/kodi and until then to play 3D-blurays with an external player through advanced launcher and get rid of the dual boot and windows
