Greetings.
The animatio classic "Last Exile" was mastered in 59i interlaced, although much of the content appeared to be progressive. I'd like some advice encoding this into progressive.
1. Some segments don't appear to follow the standard telecine pattern. The mountain scene in attached clip, for example. Can anyone recognise what pattern this is and how to restore it?

2. How would the standard inverse telecine script deal with this?
DSS2("H:\BDMV\STREAM\00003.m2ts")
TFM()
TDecimate()
AssumeFPS(24000, 1001)
3. Can anyone kindly provide a link to the latest DSS2?
4. Much of the video appear to be soft. Is this an upscale from SD (or perhaps interlaced) source? Any recommended sharpening scripts to enhance it?
5. What bit rate would you suggest for the progressive encode? FYI, the nominal bit rate of the original is 25mbps.
Many thanks and best regards.
