Is there anyone that can explain to me the problem with the Philips Standalone DVD Player. Here ist the thing, I have encoded the movie with Sonyīs Vizaro encoder, authoring is made with Spruce DVD Maestro,
DVDīs are burned with Pioneerīs S-201 And the disc is a 3tpro 3.95Gb.
Now tested on Standalone units "Sony, Pioneer, Yamaha, JVC, Sharp (portable), PC with Hollywood plus card and software" it works fine, BUT!!!!! on a Philips unit it wonīt work! Now whats wrong, the Player or is it the authoring I donīt get it. SO PLEASE if anyone have an idea or know anything about it please post a note.

check dvd player compatibility list on vcdhelp.com

http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=philips&Search=Search&list=0

anyway, philips is officially supporting DVD+RW (not DVD-RW?).
dunno yet about DVD-RW. currently testing.
