I have a fresh instal of win 7 U x64 and instlled v2.55 of AutoGK, however i am getting tons and tons or errors all giving me the same error message which is:
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'ntdll' now i have done some searching and most folks seem to suggest it's something to do with the vobs not being right, but it's happening to me almost 50% of the time.
Is there an app to check the vobs to make sure there is no issue with them, also with the error message can it ONLY mean problems with vobs, my machine spec is as follows:

OK thanks for the reply LoRd_MuldeR, so what are my options, should i just reinstal AugoGK or uninstall XviD or as a final option or do have an image of a fresh instal of win 7 u x64 should i just go back on that, I have tried other apps like DVDFab but the results are not all that so would love to stay with AutoGK.

So if you still get crashes after you have updated everything to the latest versions, try to strip down your processing chain as much as possible (e.g. remove all filters, etc).

The OP is using AutoGK which, as far as I recall, needs the included Xvid version to produce files that are not over/undersized. Also, I believe the standard VirtualDub is a no-go for AutoGK, it needs VDubMod.
I think it's time to move on and use something like Megui which receives frequent updates.

That alone would be a good reason to ditch AutoGK ;)

Anyway, I highly suggest the OP to run the same conversion manually with an up-to-date VirtualDub and an up-to-date Xvid.

BTW: If you need MPEG-2/VOB input directly in VirtualDub, you can use the MPEG-2 plugin (http://gral.y0.pl/~fcchandler/Plugins/MPEG2/) for VirtualDub.

Place the AutoGK portable version(tested in all Windows environments part from crappy Win8!) on an external drive via your usb cable attached to your computer and try that. By doing this I can still use Xvid latest revision(I use Xvid 1.4 developer's build sometimes when I'm not doing H264 tests on my pc) without having to uninstall it, because AutoGK's inbuilt 1.21 VAQ build revision conflicts with it.

If it fails also place the source along with the portable on that drive too. The error is coming from within windows system, but who knows where as others correctly state? Running in a virtual environment should solve this. If not move on to MP4! Link below.
