Any idea if Miracast allows the use of lossless encoding? If not, can the sender arbitrarily change the quality on the fly?
I find it somewhat surprising Miracast doesn't progressively improve static images, and I wonder if there's an inherent reason to that. But it could just as well be the Microsoft implementation, or also Intel, in my specific case.
(Yeah, not really "software players", but it's the closest category. Sort of.)
