Automated options for DVD & Blu-ray authoring

We are doing high volumes of authoring projects and Adobe Encore has no API for us to script against. I am aware of Sony Blu-Print which has an API available, but to spend this kind of time and money to develop against software that only addresses Blu-ray is kind of silly. We want a single solution that can work with DVD, Blu-ray, and that we can automate against.

Is there anything out there like this?

No such thing exists, AFAIK.
With Sonic tools (Scenarist) you can make templates - in DVD you simply swap the assets for placeholders and then all pre/post commands are retained.
With BD it is much more complex - are you authoring in HDMV or BD-J modes?
