Hello !
I have problem , and I hope it is a good group to ask.
I've DV camera and I would like to convert DV material to SVCD disc's but...I can't read this file (approx. 12GB - 1h) in Vdub and DVD2SVCD. I found that I should use DV1 to DV2 converter. And I did it with Canopous file converter but after aprox. 2.3 (output file) it stops.
The same situation is on another file converter.
What is wrong , and what should I do ?
System : Win2k prof , NTFS.

Thank you in advance

You might as well be my AVI tester, so try this dvd2svcd version:

http://212.88.77.140/DVD2SVCD107BETATMPGEnc.zip

1. Install the Canopus Codec (see the link in the AVI Hints tab)
2. In the Misc. Tab select "Convert DV Avi"
3. Run DVD2SVCD.

Let me know if it fails.

That is for sure not a DV Avi you tested it on. It has AC3 has the audio.

I'm sure it is DV avi. But i dont know why DVD2SVCD recognized audio like "AC3" stream.

Is this just a small sample you're trying? If so could you mail it to me, then I can fix it.

Please read e-mail from me. I send you how to download sample file. And about another version : the same story (recognize AC3 stream in my DV file) and CCE hangs (now without meesage divide by zero).
