I have installed Steven don's dynamic noisereducion 2.1 in my virtual dub 1.10.4 plugins32 Folder. It's no Problem to load the NR Plugin but I cannot make any adjustments. The threshhold remains at 12 and cannot be changed.
When I click on the plugin or on the "configure" button, a small window Shows up for a quick Moment and immediately disappears.
What can I do? I would like to have a simple and effective video noisereduction in order to clean up my Videos.
Can anybody help? Thanks a lot.

Confirmed, I see the same thing with 1.10, but 1.9 is fine. So, use VirtualDub 1.9 for dnr purposes.

thank You raffriff42 - do You know any other good and effective Video noise reduction for virtual dub?
Especially I am searching for Tools to clean progressive Video of captured film, like despotter, degrain, stabilizer etc.

You've come to the right place - but people here (myself included)
will steer you to Avisynth (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Main_Page#New_to_AviSynth_-_start_here) for advanced restoration work.
Look at this thread for some examples of what it can do:

I know this thread very well. I have worked with the scripts of videofred and johnmeyer ...but I always called the avs scripts from virtual dub, because I do not like the handling of avisynth. it seems to me rather abstract and poorly intuitive.
I am preferably experimenting with virtual dub and vd- filters which work from within virtual dub. This gives me more direct feedback an visualisation of what I do.
