Britain decriminalises online media piracy

Britain is scrapping legal enforcement of online media piracy. Starting next year, file-sharers will receive warnings about their illegal activity, yet no further actions will be taken. Britain will me implementing a new scheme named Voluntary Copyright Alert Programme (VCAP) for which the UK’s biggest providers have all signed up for. They include BT, Virgin, TalkTalk and Sky.
