I have noticed that the MovieObject file produced by BDRebuilder in 3D mode is a bit strange.
BDEdit cant edit this file to produce stream info, i.e. forced subs, audio etc.
If I get the chapter info and load the "BDRebuilder made" mt2s file into tsmuxer and paste the chapter into then all is ok as tsmuxer produces a standard type MovieObject file.
Now obviously there is a reason why BDRebuilder produces the odd type of MovieObject file, just curious
This seems to be a change to previous versions of BDRebuilder. Havnt tried 2D with this version, perhaps that's the same now as well.

Thanks JD
If I load the MPLS into tsmuxer from the re built file it doesent like it.
So I get the chapter info to preserve it and load the m2ts file into tsmuxer, re enter the chapter info and re mux.
Then all is ok

Then all is okI just did a disc as a test, and BDEDIT opened it fine. TSMUXER also opened the MPLS with no issues. Are you doing any kind of editing after BD-RB is complete? That was a movie-only backup, I'll try a full backup next -- but a movie-only encode is the only time BD-RB creates the MovieObject file.

Hi JD
Yes, movie only
No, no editing before this.
Yes, tsmuxer opens the MPLS fine, BUT try and remux or try and produce a ISO from your folder, it will not like it
If you load the m2ts file into tsmuxer thein it will remux or produce an ISO, but not from the MPLS from BDRebuilder.
And yes, BDEdit will open it but you cant create a stream edit because the MovieObject is non standard.

It doesn't know how to handle the MPLS for an in-mux playlist. I just tested it with a commercial disc and got the same results.
I just edited and saved MovieObject information with no problem from a disc I created. I'm not sure what you mean by a "stream edit" since the MovieObject just has objects and navigation commands.

Normally I can edit the MovieObject to select which Audio track to play by default and which (if any) subtitle to play by default for Movie Only.
BDEdit wont add those commands with the MovieObject produced bt BDRebuilder.
It isn't a problem, I can just re mux in tsmuxer and then do it.

It is a convoluted mess that I assume was just copied from some example disc. I purposely used my own instead for imports so it would be simplified and also support multiple playlists.
You can certainly add commands, as long as you know how it works. I just did it. Just insert some NOPs and edit them to the commands you want. You can set the audio to play or subtitle to play easily enough if you know the appropriate PSR (player status register). You should probably add the commands to select the track in the First Playback object.
