Hi, recently, I started to try importing some DVDs to compile a Blu Ray disk. Everything worked super (thanks jdobbs!), but one question remained: Is it possible to exchange the background picture of the quick play menu for some user defined background? Sorry if this topic already has been discussed in the 5 billion BD Rebuilder pages, then i have missed it.

Thanks for the advice, jdobbs. Is there anything else to be considered? I selected and saved my own picture, but I still see the default background. On the other hand, setting threshold seems to work.

On the other hand, setting threshold seems to work. Are you working from a BD? If so, BD-RB gives priority to the original background. You can force your image by unchecking "Attempt to find original background..." in that same dialog. Also, the file has to be a JPG, PNG, DMP or other standard image file.

But your first post says DVDs... so I assume that isn't your issue. I just ran an import as a test, and the image file I selected is being used correctly. Also note: It should be 1920x1080 -- but BD-RB will resize it if it isn't.

Dear jdobbs, again, many thanks for your kind support. I will try a new import from the scratch. By the way, would it be very complex to enable import settings to save a threshold < 1 (e.g. 0.3)? At the moment, when I try the same, values are changed to 0. My DVDs contain some extras (different slide shows with alternative title tracks) which are smaller (e.g. 00:29) than 1 minute.
