I was trying to encode a aac audio and downmixing it from 6ch to stereo when it gave me an warning. "channel count mismatch! The input file is reporting 2 channels and the AviSynth script is reporting 6 channels". The warning stops it from downmixing which is making me not be able to encode it because is remains a 6ch audio file.

I have no idea what made it do that the rest of the files worked fine but one extra. Can you please help me fix this?

I would like say that trying to convert aac to ac3 or downmixing is impossible, everything I has tried failed.

try a avisynth script with directshowsource and lavfilter as source select mixing in lav audio set it to 2.0.

SSAAYY what?
That's like asking me to fix the doohickey by messing with the thingamabobber
But I really do not have much of an idea what you want me to do. I understand the imports. But I have no idea on the code needed to downmix with all the numbers and how to handle the channels. I have never manually done anything with audio.

Sorry, but forum rule 6 do not allow help for files downloaded.
