Its all in the timing...!! I had just finished encoding an Avi file when checking the TMPGenc website. So I rencoded the film with the the exact same settings. It finished 20 minutes faster...2:50 -vs- 2:30. Just thought I would let you know. IT is definitely faster on My dual AMD MP1600.

is that program SMP compatible? does it use both processors?

wow... how does that compare to CCE's encoder, and how could i use TmpGenc with DVD2SVCD?

is CCE SMP compatible?
