i've tested some output files from x265 launcher on nexus 5 and galaxy s3 android devices. 1080p encodes are running smooth with strongene lentoid decoder on android. you can test it if you download the .apk on the developer site:

but now, i don't find an compiled ffmpeg build for android with strongene hevc decoder. very sad, because it isn't necessary to buy new devices for hevc. can someone help or explain how to use and pay for this decoder?

FYI the apk includes a patched GPLv3 ffmpeg library, which is a violation of the license.

oh, thats not good. but could you tested the patched ffmpeg library with one of the big android media players (mx player, bs player, vlc, ...) anyway?
