Friends,

Ripbot is so awesome, it helped me alot with upscaling dvd to h264 for Blu-ray Authoring.

Now my question, I am using ->

1. AnyDVD to Rip
2. PGCDemux to Demux the DVD
3. Adobe Media Encoder to recode / resize the Movie

Adobe has a lot of issues, I am working with the media encoder since 3 years and still, it got some problems with different demuxed streams.

Is there any program, easy and awesome like Ripbot which can recode my mpeg2 into the same mpeg2 standard for DVD (PAL 25p) ?

Ripbot can'T do that or? I just find MKV export or h264 or AVC.

Thank you so much!

No, RipBot can't do this, it is designed to output H264.

Can you tell us some more about what you want to accomplish? According to your post you want to reencode a DVD source to another DVD (PAL standard).

Do you want to do a standard conversion from NTSC to PAL, do you want to compress a dual layer DVD so it will fit on a single layer blank, or do you want to edit the source DVD by applying filters and/or edit out scenes or add/remove audio or subtitle tracks?

Whatever, you will need an MPEG2 encoder. HCenc is probably your best choice for a free solution, ffmpeg is also pretty good these days. And there are commercial encoders like Cinemacraft or Procoder or others.

And you have to decide if you want to do all the conversion steps manually, or if you want to use an integrated solution like AVStoDVD (which I would recommend).
